Veteran & Community Medical Appointment Support

Wheels for the Wise is a Canada-wide appointment-support and mobility assistance service focused on helping Veterans and medically eligible individuals safely access the care they need. We are the first organization in Canada built specifically around trauma-informed support for clients attending scheduled medical appointments, including doctors, physiotherapy, mental-health care, diagnostics, dental visits, post-surgical follow-ups, and addiction-related care.

We’re growing and looking for caring, reliable people who want meaningful part-time work that truly makes a difference. This role is especially well suited to members of the broader service community, including CAF members and Veterans, retired RCMP or police, retired healthcare workers or paramedics, and retired firefighters—individuals who understand trust, discretion, and calm support as part of a larger community of service.

As part of our team, you’ll support clients during scheduled medical appointments, operate your own vehicle safely when required, and use a smartphone to receive schedules and updates. A patient, respectful approach and strong winter driving skills are important, and full training is provided so you feel confident and supported in the role. This is a paid, part-time role for the right candidate.
